Getting started
What is SeamBase?
A production tracker for indie fashion brands. Every order moves through five fixed stages — Ordered → In production → Quality check → Shipped → Delivered. Your factory updates the stage via a unique link, no app to install, no login.
How long does setup take?
About two minutes. Sign up, name your business, add a manufacturer and your first order. You can skip the manufacturer + order steps and add them later.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. 7-day free trial, no card. Upgrade only if you keep using it.
Factory side
Do my manufacturers need an account?
No. Every order has a unique update link. Send it via WhatsApp or email. Factory clicks, sees the order, picks the current stage, leaves a note. Done.
Can factories upload photos?
Yes. From the update link they can upload QC photos, finished sample images, or PDFs (up to 25 MB each). You get an email when they upload.
What if a factory shares my link with someone else?
Open the order in your dashboard and click Regenerate link. The old link stops working immediately — you then send the new one to the factory.
Orders + tracking
Can I attach tech packs?
Yes. Upload files on the order detail page. They're visible to the factory on their update link page, with a download button.
How do chase-up reminders work?
Daily at 09:00 UTC SeamBase emails you a digest of orders that are due within 3 days or already overdue. Toggle per order with the Send automated chase-up email checkbox.
Can I import existing orders?
CSV import is on the roadmap. For now, add orders one at a time — most brands seed faster than they expect.
Billing
What's the difference between Studio and Brand?
Studio (£29/mo) covers up to 30 active orders with up to 5 manufacturers and 5 GB of file storage. Brand (£79/mo) is unlimited, adds calendar view + priority support, and 50 GB storage.
How do I cancel?
Dashboard → Plan overview → Manage billing → Cancel subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Will my factories ever pay?
No. The factory side is free, forever.
Account
How do I change my email or password?
Settings → Email address or Password. Email changes require confirmation via a link sent to the new address.
Can I delete my account?
Email seambase.contact@gmail.com and we'll remove everything within 7 days. Self-serve delete is on the roadmap.
